There has been a change at the helm of Pitching In Southern League Division One South outfit, Paulton Rovers.
Managers Craig Loxton and John Durbin stepped down in the wake of Tuesday’s 1-0 loss at local rivals, Cribbs, their third straight defeat having previously lost 2-0 at home to Tavistock and 7-2 at the hands of Frome Town.
The duo took over in November 2022 and guided the club to the Somerset Premier Cup Final last term and a 13th place finish, but this term they have struggled to find any momentum with two wins from their opening ten League outings.
Club captain, Neil Martin, will take charge of Saturday’s local derby at Bristol Manor Farm and will be assisted by the long-serving David O’Hare.
Martin joined the club in September 2021 from Tiverton Town. He made over 400 appearances for Dorchester Town after starting his career within the youth ranks at Exeter City and also having spells at the likes of Weymouth, Salisbury and Poole Town.
