They have only been members of the Pitching In Southern League since the summer, but already Cribbs have developed a reputation as a strong defensive unit.
Five of their eight Division One South games so far have seen them keep clean sheets as they sit sixth in the early table.
It comes on the back of their Hellenic League Premier Division title triumph last term where they conceded just 15 goals in 38 matches.
“I love a stat and Saturday’s clean sheet at Westbury United was our 41st in our last 55 League games,” said manager, Richard Luffman, proudly. “On top of that we’ve kept five clean sheets in our eight League games so far this season, our first-ever at Step 4 level.
“We’re becoming accustomed to playing against better quality opposition now and at the moment we are looking like a good Southern League team.
“It’s a good place to be; the players are working their socks off and it’s four games without conceding a goal from open play.
“That solid foundation is so important in everything we do.”
Cribbs played out a goalless draw at Westbury United on Saturday.
