Supporters Club volunteers playing their part

As soon as you set foot in Exmouth Town’s Circle of Care Community Stadium, you can tell that it is loved.

Clean, tidy and extremely welcoming, it is a venue that certainly lives up to its name.

The Pitching In Southern League Division One South outfit has over 100 paying members in its Supporters Club who not only donate time on match days, but give many hours service on non-match days too.

Over the past few years, thousands of pounds have been spent by the supporters’ group to not only improve and maintain the facilities, but also to assist the club in being able to raise enough funds to be able to support itself.

Recent projects that the Supporters Club has undertaken include new turnstiles and a refurbished beer garden with benches, patio and a roof added to make the facility more desirable for the local community to use.

As well as this, in the early part of 2023, volunteers spent months labouring to get new stands in place so that the club passed the Ground Grading inspection.

Most home games also sees a pop-up Club Shop in operation, also run by volunteers, where profits raised go towards ground project funds

It’s been a tough start to the season for the Devon club with just one win from their opening ten League games as they sit at the foot of the table.

This Saturday they are in home action as they take on Bristol Manor Farm.
