Having played his part in Mousehole’s rise and subsequent bright start to life in the Pitching In Southern League Division One South, talented front-runner, Jack Bray-Evans, has earned a move up a level after joining Plymouth Parkway.
The Premier South club have finally completed the capture of a player that has been on their radar for a while and Bray-Evans is relishing the challenge that stands before him at Bolitho Park.
“I had a fantastic time at Mousehole,” he began. “There is a great group of players and management there who are really taking the club forward and I leave with nothing but nice things to say about the club.
“This is a move that could have happened for me earlier in the season, but I am here now and raring to go.
“It’s a big club within the area; it’s great to see how things have developed and grown over the years and it’s exciting for me to now be part of it.
“I’ll give it everything I’ve got and hopefully it will help lift the club up the table. As a striker, you’ve got to have a certain level of confidence in your own ability and I come here having scored goals regularly at my two previous clubs [Falmouth Town and Mousehole].
“I feel that I have earned this move rather than having it handed to me. I can’t wait to get stuck in and show what I am capable of.”
After narrowly overcoming the challenge of Bracknell Town at the weekend, Bray-Evans and his new team-mates head to Hayes & Yeading United on Saturday.
