Big win for Stamford

There was one game in the Pitching In Southern League Premier South on Tuesday evening as AFC Totton battled out a 2-1 victory over Hayes & Yeading United.

Leon Maloney struck early on for the hosts only for Sanmi Odelusi to level matters in the opening exchanges of the second period. The experienced Scott Rendell popped up on the hour mark to win it for the home side and send them into the top five.

Just one game also took place in the Pitching In Southern League Premier Central where Stamford dismantled second-place Mickleover with a commanding 4-0 success. Tendai Chitiza, Jack Duffy and Ashton Offier all struck in the first half with Rob Morgan completing the scoring to take his side up to fourth place.

All three scheduled games in the Pitching In Southern League Division One Central fell victim of the wet weather.
