With three wins and a draw from their last four Pitching In Southern League Division One South games, Bristol Manor Farm move into the New Year with a real spring in their step.
“The past month has been excellent for us, but we’re certainly not getting carried away,” stressed manager, Lee Lashenko, to his club’s media. “The League table is so congested right now, and we know that a few bad results could slump us back down a few places.
“That being said, picking up seven points from the last nine is testament to the hard work and determination of the players and staff.
“It’s certainly a positive way to head into the second half of the season. We’re in good spirits and we’re looking forward to the challenges ahead, starting at Yate Town on New Year’s Day.
“Over the past few years we’ve showed what a good side we can be; we know that there will be tough tests ahead but we are fully determined to make our mark over the second half of the season.”
Manor Farm currently sit sixth in the table with seven wins from their 18 League games.
