Thanks to the help and support of numerous club volunteers, Plymouth Parkway have been able to undertake a floodlight replacement project at their Bolitho Park home.
In a collaborative effort alongside Sports Lighting, the Pitching In Southern League Premier South club believe that the improvements will not only be a technical enhancement but also help to improve the matchday experience for supporters.
“This was a real collaborative effort and showcases the support and dedication from our volunteers, the backbone of our club, who gave up their time and worked tirelessly to support the installation process to ensure the smooth transition to a brighter era for Parkway,” said a club spokesperson. “From the dedicated volunteers who lent their hands, to the visionary team at Sports Lighting, every contributor played a pivotal role in making this project happen.
“It promises to elevate the overall matchday experience, offering a vibrant and well-lit atmosphere that resonates with the club’s commitment to excellence.”
Things are also looking bright on the pitch as Tuesday evening’s 2-0 win at Hayes & Yeading United made it eight League games undefeated as they won for the second game in a row.
The highly-rated Dylan Jones returned from a brief loan spell at Tavistock to give them an early lead before Shane White added a second goal on the half-hour mark to see them reach the 30-point mark and pull themselves further away from the lower reaches of the table.
It sets them up for a trip to Dorchester Town on Saturday as they look to continue to shine.
