Following a string of impressive displays, Brad Bood has extended his stay at Stourbridge until the end of the season.
The 20 year-old joined the Glassboys on loan from Pitching In Southern League Premier Central rivals, AFC Telford United, at the beginning of November and it’s not only his defensive qualities that have come to the fore, he also scored a Goal of the Season contender against Berkhamsted in December.
"Defending comes first, of course,” said the talented left-back. “The manager has made that clear, but I do like to get forward and enjoyed that goal against Berkhamsted; I just remember receiving the ball, making space and hitting it, it was like I was a forward!
“I am enjoying my time at Stourbridge; it’s given me the opportunity to play regular games and now the deal has been extended, hopefully I can play my part in helping the team to climb the table and finish the season strongly.”
Stourbridge get back into action at the weekend with a home game against Leiston.
