A run of four games unbeaten has given Harrow Borough a boost in their quest to move away from danger in the Pitching In Southern League Premier South.
Leading by example is skipper, Reece Yorke, who has weighed in with goals in each of the last three games.
We asked him what’s the secret behind his rich vein of scoring form.
“I’m not sure,” he replied. “I guess it’s just been a case of being in the right place at the right time.
“Recent results have been massive, especially coming through the bad spell we had. Everyone kept their heads up and dug in throughout that period and now we are getting the rewards.
“The belief has always been there amongst the players and staff; going into the season we knew it would be tough with a new and young group of players in what is a strong League.
“But we’re in there fighting and the aim is to keep building on the momentum and win as many games as possible.
“For me personally it’s about helping to keep some clean sheets and adding to my goalscoring tally.
“There are some big games ahead, but we’re ready for the challenge.”
A home game against Winchester City awaits on Saturday.
