Plymouth Parkway have confirmed that their next two Pitching In Southern League Premier South home games will be moved away from Bolitho Park due to the unforgiving weather.
The Devon outfit will play host to Merthyr Town on Thursday and Hayes & Yeading United on Saturday at the South West Interiors Stadium, home of Yate Town.
“We understand that this situation is not ideal for our loyal supporters,” admitted Chairman, Mark Russell. “Rest assured we have not taken this decision lightly and we feel that this is the best option to make sure we adhere to League requirements to fulfil the fixtures for the 2023/24 season.
“Over the coming week we are continuing to carry out work on the pitch at Bolitho Park to give the remaining home games the best chance of being played in front of our loyal fans.
“We would like to place on record a massive thank you to Yate Town for helping us out this week, and a massive thanks to our supporters for your understanding in what is a very difficult time for the club.”
Plymouth Parkway sit just inside the relegation zone but have as many as nine games in hand over other clubs.
