These are halcyon days at Mousehole AFC as they end their first-ever season at Step 4 strongly.
Tuesday’s 4-1 triumph over Exmouth Town was their fourth straight victory, a run which has thrust them into the Pitching In Southern League Division One South play-off places.
It’s been a season of real progression for the Cornish club, both on and off-the-pitch, and their final game of the regular season against Bishop’s Cleeve on Saturday, in which they will be looking to confirm their place in the play-offs, will see a return of printed Matchday Programmes to Trungle Parc.
“We feel that a printed Matchday Programme is not only a great vehicle through which to deliver all of the latest news from the club, but it’s also a nice souvenir for home and away supporters as well as the many visitors that attend our games throughout the course of the season,” said Kevin Bishop, the club’s Director of Media and Education Outreach. “Through the pages we want to celebrate our successes and showcase all of our teams and the people behind-the-scenes that make things tick.
“We are excited to getting back to producing printed Matchday Programmes. We have teamed up with JJ Sports Promotions Ltd., who work with a number of Southern League clubs, and came very highly-rated as experts in their field.
“Having worked with them closely this week, the whole process was extremely professional and ran smoothly. The finished product has blown everyone at the club away and we can’t wait to share it with supporters on Saturday.
“For this edition we will be giving it away in return for a donation to the RNLI and we are keen to get as much feedback as possible on the content and the overall look-and-feel of the publication to help in the planning for next season.”
