With the thrills and spills of the 2023/24 season now over, we have asked supporters from across our four divisions to share their thoughts on the campaign.
Thank you to everyone who has taken part...

CLUB | Tiverton Town FC – Pitching In Southern League Premier South
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN FOLLOWING YOUR CLUB AND HOW DID YOUR SUPPORT FIRST BEGIN? | I first started watching Tivvy in 1993 on their way to the first of three visits to Wembley Stadium for the FA Vase Final. The Tivvy team of the early 90s were a very good footballing side and a joy to watch, so I was hooked from the start.
HOW MANY OF THIS SEASON’S GAMES WERE YOU ABLE TO ATTEND? | I attended all of the home games and most of the away fixtures.
WHICH OF YOUR TEAM’S PLAYERS HAVE MOST STOOD OUT FOR YOU OVER THE COURSE OF THE SEASON AND WHY? | Zak Baker, our goalkeeper who is on loan from Plymouth Argyle, saved us on many occasions with important saves that kept us in the game and for a 19 year-old, he has a very cool head. Club captain, Jamie Richards, always leads by example and is always encouraging the lads throughout the game. Joe Parker, who joined us on loan halfway through the season, scored 11 goals in 15 appearances and without his goals we could have well been relegated. But for me, the whole of the squad are worthy of a mention as they all played their part in keeping us in the Premier South.
WHICH GAME MOST STANDS OUT FROM THIS SEASON AND WHY? | Our penultimate game of the season saw us travel to Harrow Borough. It was a very tense game with both ‘keepers pulling off great saves from the penalty spot. At 90 minutes the score was 1-1 and the ref indicated there would be seven minutes of stoppage time, and in the final seconds of that added time, Dylan Jones popped up to score the winner that went a long way towards keeping us up.
WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FAVOURITE AWAY GROUND TO VISIT AND WHY? | I Like the Webbswood Stadium, the home of Swindon Supermarine, as you always get a friendly welcome and it’s a nice stadium.
HOW DID THE SEASON COMPARE TO YOUR HOPES DURING THE SUMMER? | There were lots of personnel changes on and off the field at the beginning of the season and halfway through, so it was always going to be a difficult campaign. I guess at the beginning of the season my hopes were a good FA Cup run and a place in the play-offs, but under the circumstances I feel we had a decent season.
