FIXTURES 2024/25 | THE JOURNEY AHEAD

The wait is over! The fixtures for the 2024/25 Pitching In Southern League Premier South, Premier Central, Division One South and Division One Central have been announced.

The League season will get underway on Saturday, August 10th 2024 with the final round of fixtures taking place on Saturday, April 26th 2025.

The opening weekend will see some intriguing match-ups. In the Premier South, last season’s losing play-off finalists, AFC Totton host a Walton & Hersham outfit who just missed out on a place in the top five, Chertsey Town begin life with a home encounter against Hungerford Town, whilst Havant & Waterlooville’s return to this level sees them start with a tough trip to Dorchester Town.

Also facing a tough opening day away trip are Frome Town as they begin life in Step 3 at Gosport Borough, who were part of the leading pack for much of last term. Fellow new-boys, Marlow, host Winchester City as Taunton Town and Gloucester City go head-to-head after both clubs suffered relegation at the end of last season, from The National League South and North respectively. Wimborne Town start with a home encounter against Hanwell Town.

Over in the Premier Central, Banbury United are at home to AFC Sudbury on the opening day. Newly-promoted Biggleswade Town will host AFC Telford United in what is sure to be a tough introduction to life at this level, whilst there are also home starts for Bishop’s Stortford, who take on Alvechurch, Harborough Town, who welcome Stamford AFC, Lowestoft Town, who entertain a Redditch United outfit who made the play-offs last term, and Spalding United who host fellow new-boys, Bedford Town.

In Division One South, Falmouth Town start on the road as they head to a Bashley outfit that have seen a number of off-the-field changes over the summer. Cinderford Town begin at home against Cribbs, who made the play-offs last term, whilst Didcot Town host Larkhall Athletic and Thatcham Town go to Exmouth Town.

There is a home start for Shaftesbury as they begin life in Step 4 against Malvern Town, whilst Helston Athletic head to Westbury United for their first-ever game at this level. Last season’s beaten play-off finalists, Bristol Manor Farm, begin at home to Melksham Town.

Division One Central sees Berkhamsted begin their campaign at home to Stotfold, Enfield also have a home start as they welcome North Leigh, whilst Flackwell Heath begin life by welcoming an AFC Dunstable outfit who will be looking to make their mark amongst the leading pack once more this term.
Also at home are Leverstock Green, who face Welwyn Garden City, as Northwood and Beaconsfield Town meet. The Real Bedford story begins with them at home to Hertford Town.

There will be a full programme of fixtures on August Bank Holiday, Monday, August 26th, whilst the festive period sees a full fixture schedule on Boxing Day, which is Thursday, December 26th, Saturday, December 28th and also New Year’s Day, Wednesday, January 1st. For Easter, there will be a full programme of games on Saturday, April 19th and also Bank Holiday Monday, April 21st, before the regular season comes to a close on Saturday, April 26th.

You can be sure that there will be thrills and spills aplenty over the course of the campaign as our 87 Member Clubs battle it out. Check out the Fixtures section of our website for the full list of fixtures.
