There’s plenty of action to look forward to this weekend across our four divisions. Here’s our pick of the games:
WALTON & HERSHAM v HAVANT & WATERLOOVILLE | PITCHING IN SOUTHERN LEAGUE PREMIER SOUTH
This game sees two fancied clubs, who currently sit on the fringes of the leading pack, go head-to-head. The home side are without a League win in six outings, of which four of the games have been drawn, whilst the visitors find themselves unbeaten in their last three League games. It promises to be a competitive encounter.
LEISTON v STAMFORD | PITCHING IN SOUTHERN LEAGUE PREMIER CENTRAL
Having won their last two games on the road, Leiston, will be looking to take this form into their home fixtures as they face opponents who will be vying to go back to the top of the table. Just one defeat from their last eight League outings have seen the hosts start to climb the table, whilst for the visitors, they have bounced back from a recent dip in form by winning their last two League games.
FALMOUTH TOWN v YATE TOWN | PITCHING IN SOUTHERN LEAGUE DIVISION ONE SOUTH
There will sure to be a large and vocal crowd in attendance for this one as the home side look to end a run of four games without a League win. They will face a tough challenge from opponents who sit on top of the table and are unbeaten in their last seven League outings. It is sure to be a hard-fought and competitive affair.
FLACKWELL HEATH v BARTON ROVERS | PITCHING IN SOUTHERN LEAGUE DIVISION ONE CENTRAL
The home side will be looking to respond in the right way to only their second League defeat of the season in their last League outing. They face upwardly-mobile opponents who are now unbeaten in their last three League outings, which have included two successive victories. Only two points separate the two teams going into this one as they sit just outside the top five.
It’s also Emirates FA Cup first round weekend and we send our very best wishes to both Kettering Town and Harborough Town as they are our last two remaining clubs in the competition. Both face away ties; Kettering go to Sky Bet League One neighbours, Northampton Town, whilst Harborough head to Tonbridge Angels of the Vanarama National League South.
