We get the supporters’ view of the 2024/25 season

NAME: Callum Hale

AGE: 33 ½

CLUB: Harborough Town

HOW LONG HAVE YOU SUPPORTED YOUR CLUB AND HOW DID YOUR SUPPORT FIRST BEGIN? I moved to Market Harborough in 2016 and have been going to the football here ever since. First match was a County Cup tie against Leicester Nirvana on the Tuesday before Christmas. Bees won that night and been hooked ever since.

HOW WOULD YOU ASSESS THE 2024/25 SEASON FOR YOUR CLUB? Incredible, nothing short of incredible. The memories of our FA Cup run will last with me forever, and then to sneak a play-off spot in our first season at Step 3 exceeded my expectations. Off the pitch we are doing well too; having grown our fan base (both locally and abroad, hello to our fans in Spain and Latin America!), expanded the stadium and now running supporters’ buses to all the away matches. There has never been a better time to watch Harborough Town.

WHO WAS YOUR CLUB’S BEST PLAYER IN 2024/25 AND WHY? You can't go wrong with Josh Walsh. He’s been with us since Step 5 and keeps on getting better every season. He started every match in 2024/25 and played in multiple positions across the back and middle. He even popped up with a spectacular goal in the last League game to cap another fantastic season in a yellow shirt.

WHO WERE THE BEST OPPOSING TEAM IN 2024/25? There are lots of great teams in the Southern League Central, but I do have a soft spot for Halesowen Town; think they are a really well run club and always give us a good game.

WHO WAS THE BEST OPPOSING PLAYER IN 2024/25? Rob Morgan wasn't bad when playing against us for Stamford AFC. So good, in fact, that we managed to sign him for us during the latter part of the season!

FAVOURITE AWAY GROUND AND WHY? Royston Town was a special away day for me personally, as for the first time ever I managed to win the half time 50/50 draw!

MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT IN 2024/25? Taking the lead at Reading in the FA Cup second round is an absolutely iconic moment, and so unexpected too. What a day that was!

HOPES FOR 2025/26? Just to win lots of matches and be up there challenging at the right end of the table once more.
