FIXTURES 2025/26 | THE JOURNEY AHEAD

The wait is over! The fixtures for the 2025/26 Pitching In Southern League Premier South, Premier Central, Division One South and Division One Central have been announced

The League season will get underway on Saturday, August 9th 2025 with the final round of fixtures taking place on Saturday, April 25th 2026.

There will be Saturday-Monday fixtures over the August Bank Holiday weekend and then the festive period will see games scheduled for Saturday, December 27th and Saturday, January 3rd. The Easter weekend falls on April 3rd – 6th with two games taking place during this period.

The opening weekend will see some intriguing match-ups. In the Premier South, new-boys, Berkhamsted, Farnham Town, Uxbridge, Weymouth and Yate Town all start the campaign with home fixtures. Play-off winners, Berkhamsted, welcome Bracknell Town, whilst Hungerford Town provide the opposition for Farnham Town, who are fresh from their second successive promotion. Uxbridge host Dorchester Town as Weymouth lock horns with another new team in Evesham United. Two levels separated these teams last season, but now they come together at Step 3.

Over in the Premier Central, Needham Market return to this level with a tough introduction as they go to the fancied Harborough Town, whilst Bury Town head to Stourbridge. Meanwhile Real Bedford and Worcester City have been handed home starts with Spalding United going to Real Bedford and Quorn renewing acquaintances with Worcester City as both sides came up from the Northern Premier League Midland Division last term. This will also be the first Southern League fixture to be played at the impressive Sixways Stadium.

In Division One South, there’s home starts for Brixham AFC in their first-ever season at Step 4, Frome Town, Portishead Town, Swindon Supermarine and Winchester City. For Brixham, they host Shaftesbury, whilst Frome return to this level with the visit of Tavistock AFC. A home encounter with Didcot Town gets Portishead’s campaign underway as relegated Swindon Supermarine and Winchester host Exmouth Town and new-boys Hartpury respectively. SC Inkberrow begin their first season at Step 4 with a trip to Melksham Town.

Finally, in Division One Central, it’s a tricky start for newly-relegated Marlow as they go to Barton Rovers, who made the play-offs last term. Biggleswade Town return to this level with a home clash with Enfield, whilst MK Irish and Rayners Lane will also be hoping to make home advantage count as they take on Welwyn Garden City and Biggleswade FC respectively. It’s a tough start for London Lions as they go to Flackwell Heath, whilst Hitchin Town head to Hadley for their season opener.
