ISUZU FA TROPHY | FOURTH ROUND DRAW

Three clubs still flying the flag

The draw for the fourth round of the Isuzu FA Trophy was made on Monday evening.

Following their tremendous 4-1 victory over Sutton United, Premier South high-flyers, Walton & Hersham have been handed another home tie, this time against National League outfit, Brackley Town.

Having beaten National League South high-flyers, Worthing, on penalties, Gloucester City will be heading north to take on Marine. Their shoot-out success was the third time in this competition that they have won this way.

There was similar drama at Alvechurch on Saturday where they came from two goals down to draw with National League North side, Alfreton Town, before going through on penalties.

They now face a trip to Yeovil Town of The National League.

“We’re just enjoying the ride,” said manager, Kyle Storer. “At this stage of the competition, they are all tough opponents. Obviously it would have been nice to have had home advantage, but we’ll go there, apply ourselves the right way and see where it takes us.

“I was really pleased with the character and resilience we showed at the weekend. Going in at the break two goals down, there were some home truths spoken, but the players responded superbly well.

“We were magnificent in the second half and really exciting to watch. It became a proper cup tie in the end and we could have won it in the 90 minutes such was our dominance after the break against higher level opponents.”

The fourth round ties will be played on the weekend of January 10th 2026.

Congratulations to the teams still flying the Southern League flag and commiserations to those that went out at the weekend.
