POOLE TOWN | SUPER POWERS

There's a lot of love for hot-shot Shaquille Gwengwe

Shaquille Gwengwe showed his super hero powers once more on Saturday as he netted a hat-trick in Poole Town’s 7-0 romp over Plymouth Parkway.

It was a result which saw the Dolphins move up to second place in the Pitching In Southern League Premier South table.

“We played unbelievably well,” Gwengwe told his club’s media. “It shows our mentality and the way in which we are applying ourselves.

“For me to get a hat-trick made it even more special, but what a performance it was, a real team effort to put them to the sword.

“The work behind the scenes is really starting to pay dividends for me. I’m hungry for goals; having such great players around me certainly helps as an attacking player, as does having a Gaffer who gives me the freedom to be myself.

“This is a great environment for me to be in to allow me to fire on all cylinders. I’m just focussing on the here and now; I’m having fun and that is being reflected in my performances.

“I’m feeling the love on and off the pitch!”

It’s two scheduled away games in a row with Tuesday’s trip to Yate Town followed by away assignment to Hanwell Town.
