The latest storm failed to dampen the action across our four divisions on Saturday afternoon.
The top of the table clash in the Premier South went the way of visitors, Poole Town, as they secured a 2-1 success at leaders, Walton & Hersham. An Ik Hill penalty set them on their way before Samuel Faniyan doubled the advantage. A late effort from Jack Wood proved to be too little, too late for the hosts.
Third-place Gloucester City got back into winning ways with their first triumph of 2026 as they beat Tiverton Town 3-1, whilst Gosport Borough let a first half lead slip to lose 2-1 at Hanwell Town, who picked up vital points as they look to move away from the bottom four.
Farnham Town saw their game at Plymouth Parkway postponed.
Over in the Premier Central, leaders, Spalding United, let an early lead slip to lose 2-1 at home to Banbury United, who grabbed a late winner. Meanwhile, just below them, Harborough Town battled out a hard-earned 3-2 victory over Leiston.
It was a good day for Halesowen Town who ran out 4-0 winners away at St. Ives Town. Finley Holmes set them on their way before second half strikes from Kacy Butterfield, Jason Cowley and McKauley Manning completed a commanding success.
Also winning away were Quorn, thanks to a 2-1 victory at Royston Town, whilst Real Bedford saw their home encounter with Worcester City fall victim of the weather.
In Division One South, leaders, Frome Town, reached the 70-point mark thanks to another hard-earned win, this time by three goals to two at Bristol Manor Farm. Now in second place are Malvern Town as they returned to winning ways with a good 3-1 triumph at local rivals, Bishops Cleeve. Goals from Piers Walton, Sam Clark and Joe Tumelty won the day.
Just behind them, Winchester City conceded two early goals at home to Swindon Supermarine, but came back to draw 2-2. A goal just before the interval saw Portishead Town lose 1-0 at Sporting Club Inkberrow. Fifth place Shaftesbury saw their game at Willand Rovers postponed.
Finally, in Division One Central, there was a big 3-2 away win for Hitchin Town, their sixth success in a row, at Hertford Town, whilst Leighton Town ran out 2-1 winners against Aylesbury United. A late leveller denied Biggleswade Town victory at Welwyn Garden City as it ended 1-1.
There was also a late goal at Biggleswade FC as they beat Stotfold 3-2. Alex Marsh opened the scoring for the home team before Lawrence Marsh added a second goal. The visitors pulled one back just past the half-hour mark before they equalised on the hour. George Wheeler-Bailey hit the all-important goal at the death.
