Linnets Move for Waterfield

Pitching In Southern League Division One South club Lymington Town, who have made a poor start to the season, have signed midfielder Lewis Waterfield.

The 21-year-old joins the Linnets from league rivals AFC Totton.

He had joined the Stags in May 2020 from Vanarama National League neighbours Eastleigh.

An exciting prospect, he was in Eastleigh’s first team squad, making two substitute appearances for the Spitfires against Harrogate Town and Hartlepool United in 2019/20.

He spent a short time on loan at Blackfield & Langley in 2018/19 and again in 2019/20, when he played 23 times for the Watersiders, who were then members of the Southern League.
