FC Romania Bring in Experienced Keeper

Struggling Pitching In Southern League Division One Central club FC Romania have brought in vastly experienced goalkeeper Borja Loeches Teixeira.

The 33-year-old, who is also a successful goalkeeping coach, joined FC Romania’s league rivals Biggleswade Town in February 2020.

He played for Haringey Borough, Metropolitan Police and Walton & Hersham in 2015/16 after a couple of years of not playing after coming to this country from Spain.

Previously based in Madrid, he spent time with Internacional de Madrid, CS Dosa, AD Fundacion and Villaverde over a period of four seasons.

He joined Northwood in 2106 and made 33 appearances in 2016/17 and early 2017/18.

He spent time with Southern League Premier Division South outfit Beaconsfield Town before joining the Waders.
