Jack Smith
Experienced centre-back Jack Smith arrives at Yarnton Road from Wessex League Premier Division side Brockenhurst.
The 26-year-old joined Brockenhurst after being in Australia for a while.
He came through Vanarama National League side Eastleigh’s academy and whilst on the Spitfires` books, had loan spells with Totton & Elling, Bath City, Farnborough, Truro City, Hayes & Yeading United and Beaconsfield Town.
He is an old fashioned centre-half, a player who enjoys all aspects of defending and enjoys the physical side of the game.
Very positional aware and an organiser at the back, he is a player you can trust to be in the right place at the right time.
Luke Smith also joins the Greens for the upcoming campaign.
He is a player with a very high work rate, and eye for a pass. He has a great engine and enjoys a battle, never pulling out of a tackle.
He is a tough northern lad and has a good tactical brain.
He is a former Oxford University first team captain and has very good communication skills.
Jordan Goddard has been rewarded for working his way up the ranks having joined Kidlington’s reserve side last season and impressed with his displays before injury cut his season short.
He has returned to pre-season looking sharp and hungry and his direct running style make him an exciting prospect for the season ahead.
He is strong, quick and comes alive in the final third, he is a great addition to the first team squad and will work across both teams as he gains his experience at Step 4.
