Aylesbury United have brought in two new faces as they look to get their first points of the season on the board over the forthcoming Bank Holiday weekend.
Midfield man, Alfie Attrill (pictured) has returned to the club from Witham Town of the Isthmian League North, whilst the emerging front-runner, Josh Iheahancho, has come in on a work experience loan from Oxford United, for whom he is a second-year professional.
“Alfie impressed us last season but was unlucky as we had two key players return from injury so never really got his chance,” admitted manager, Jack Wells. “He is attentive with possession and has the physicality that we have lacked so far this season.
“I am delighted to be able to bring Josh in; for someone so young, he is very strong and his pace will cause teams problems at this level.”
The Ducks play host to Hertford Town on Saturday and then go to Kings Langley on Monday.
